Nautilus Auditorium
Summarize : Nautilus Auditorium mainly focuses on natural science enthusiasts and the public with a certain knowledge foundation. It encourages dialogues and exchanges between scientists and the public, and guides the public to participate in the discussion of scientific topics through wonderful scientific lectures that explain profound knowledge in a simple way. Since the first session of Nautilus Auditorium was held on June 13, a total of 20 sessions have been organized up to now, and 21 experts, scholars and science popularization experts have been invited to give lectures. Nautilus Auditorium has paid close attention to social hotspots and organized lectures on hot topics of public attention in a timely manner, such as Tu Youyou winning the Nobel Prize, liquid water on Mars and the movie Jurassic World released. It cooperated with Shanghai Translation Publishing House, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Cavalia and Xinmin Science Cafe, and invited 6 media outlets including People’s Daily and Jiefang Daily to cover the lectures. It has attracted a total of about 1,200 audiences. Moreover, Nautilus Auditorium has tried the micro-barrage technology on site to increase the audiences’ participation. After the lectures, the interesting science contents were selected and released via WeChat and website in the form of on-site reports to make the lecture contents reach more people.
